Imam Ibn al-Qayyim, eminent scholar of the early fourteenth century, Abû ‘Abd Allah Muhammad Ibn Abî Bakr, better known by the nickname Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya, was the famous disciple of the sheikh of Islam Ibn Taymiyya.
