Description
This epistle is one of the rare wonders and unpublished masterpieces among the beneficial works that the scholar 'Abd Ar Rahman Ibn Nassir As Sa'di, may Allah exalted be He, have mercy on him, has left us. A precious work that has not yet been published; it is offered to us by his honorable children and grandchildren. Its author, may Allah have mercy on him, titled it "Major Foundations Extracted from the Rules of Islam", and based it on five extremely important rules on which this religion rests:
The first: The entire Muslim religion is based on the worship of Allah Alone without any associate, and on asking for help from Him only.
The second: The true religion is the one that the Messenger (sws) brought, namely: the book of Allah and the Sunna.
The third: Faith in Allah is the foundation to which all Messengers have called people, thanks to which true progress is achieved in this life and in the hereafter.
The fourth: To order the suitable, forbid the blameworthy, mutually enjoin the truth and mutually enjoin patience.
The fifth: The Muslim religion constitutes absolute reform, without which humanity cannot truly be reformed...
