I have included the behaviors that a student of religious sciences needs at the beginning of his journey so that if Allah allowed him to adopt them, we would have good hope that Allah will make his knowledge profitable and that he will be beneficial to many of His creatures, It is Allah who is the Holder of guidance and He who guides to the right path.
I am pleased to see you in good health, able to understand properly, endowed with a pure heart, good morals, to see you respect the proprieties, far from obscene speeches, of pleasant company, appreciated by your brothers, comfort the poor, have compassion for the weak, forgive faults, be lenient in the face of misdeeds, do not neglect your prayers and do not be indifferent to the worship of your Lord. My son, if you accept the advice of the one who wishes you well, then I am the one who deserves most that my advice be accepted by you.
I am your teacher, your professor and the educator of your soul. You will find no one more concerned than me about your benefit and your virtue. My son, I am an honest advisor to you, so accept the advice I am going to give you and apply them in my presence, with your brothers and with yourself.
