Explanation of the Poem Al-MI’IYYAH (A poem of 100 verses on the Prophetic biography), by Ibn Abi Al- ‘Izz, by 'Abd Ar-Razzāq ibn 'Abd Al-Muhsin al-Badr
Explanation of the poem in the mention of the condition of the most noble of creatures
No Muslim is unaware that the study of the Prophet's (saws) biography has great benefits, blessed effects and many fruits for the Muslim in his life here and in the hereafter.
His biography (saws) is the best biography of the servant with the purest interior, it is the biography of the Imam of the pious, the model to follow for all people, the master of all the children of Ādam, may Allah's praises and His salutations be upon him.
The study of his biography (saws) is the study of the biography of the one whom Allah, exalted be He, has made a model for the servants, as Allah, exalted be He, says (meaning of the verse): "Indeed, you have in the Messenger of Allah an excellent model [to follow], for anyone who hopes in Allah and the Last Day and invokes Allah frequently." [Al-Aḥzāb, 21]
It anchors his love in the heart, expands its place in the chest, and he certainly said: "None of you will truly believe until I am more beloved to him than his parents, his children and all of humanity." It has great effects on the servant in realizing the fact of taking him as an example and model (saws), because taking him as a model (saws) is a branch of the knowledge of his guidance and the knowledge of his biography (saws).
Men of science have written beneficial works and valuable writings on his biography in ancient and recent times, in prose or poetry, in detail or concisely.
