Remembering Death – Sheikh ‘Abder-Razzaq Al-Badr

O servants of Allah!

Fear Allah the Most High; fear Him with the fear of one who knows that His Lord hears him and sees him.
There is an event of great importance, a very serious matter, mentioned in the Book of Allah and repeated many, many times in the Qur’an.

Many people are heedless regarding this event—careless and indifferent about preparing for it.

This event, O servants of Allah, is death.
And what will make you know what death is and what comes after death?
Death is a tremendously serious event because it leads to the first stage of the Hereafter.
Whoever dies, his resurrection has begun, and his judgment starts, along with either reward or punishment.
