Sheikh Muḥammad ibn Ṣāliḥ al-`Uthaymīn (d. 1421 H.), may Allah have mercy on him, says: "Then: Certainly, the exegesis of our Sheikh `Abd Ar-Raḥmān Ibn Nâsir Ibn Sa‘dî (d. 1376 H.), may Allah the Most High have mercy on him, titled «Taysīr Al-Karīm Ar-Raḥmān fī tafsīr Kalām Al-Mannān», is among the best exegeses due to its numerous merits:
It is written in a simple and clear style, which can be understood by both those who are firmly rooted in science and those who are less so. It avoids unnecessary words and uninteresting lengths, unless they waste the reader's time and concentration. It avoids mentioning disagreements, unless they are strong disagreements that need to be mentioned, and this is very useful for the reader, so that his understanding remains focused on one thing. It follows the path of the predecessors [also] with regard to verses about attributes, without distorting them or interpreting them in a way that contradicts what Allah wants through His Word. So it is a reference point for faith.
This is also the case due to the accuracy in extracting what the verses understand as useful lessons, rules, and judgments. It is a book of exegesis and education for good behavior. Therefore, I would recommend anyone interested in exegesis books to include this valuable exegesis in their library.
